Homeless Outreach
“Linking with Others through Volunteering & Evangelism” (L.O.V.E.)

L.O.V.E. aims to provide a faithful response to poverty & improving the quality of life for individuals in our community by contributing food, clothing, toiletries and faith based literature. On the first Saturday of each month nearly 200 homeless and needy of the greater Washington, DC area are provided physical and spiritual assistance at either Franklin Square or the DC Central Kitchen / Mitch Snyder Shelter (depending on the weather). Our desire is not simply to provide a meal but to serve the homeless with a personal touch of care, concern, and God based LOVE.
